Help! I have a spell STUCK on me!

This is a DIRE situation! :sad:

My level 29 character, Virgil and Jormund all have this annoying red cog over them which is slowing our speed down to 3! :sad:

I killed the creature that cast it on us, but the spell won't go away!

I can't reload to an earlier save, because in my infinate wisdom I used autosave and the last save I have for this character is when she was level 4! :sad: :sad:

Well it's academic now anyway.

Can you say, "argh - autosave button!"? :sad:

I autosaved over the autosave that I was keeping until I found a solution to the problem. lol

What creature was this? There is a spell called Disperse Magick, second in the Meta college, that can cancel any spell put on your characters. So dump two points into Meta if you're untrained and try that out.

 

autosave's a sweet thing...i love hitting f8 when i meant f7, and vise versa

 

Same thing happen to me, only Im the one who cast the spell err scroll. Ive summoned an earth elemental and he disappear but the spell is still active in the spell bar, the one in the top panel. even if I click it it remains. Ive even rested for a week and its still there.. Oh well guess I will not have 5 spell slot once I reach 20 int.. :wink:

 

I just rest or Advance Time and become Healed. No televangelists fer me

Something similar happened to me before too. Twas in the Schuyler basement and started attacking the sons, and I was hit with entangle. Luckily Virgil Sogg and Magnus whacked them, but the entangle spell stayed...I just had to reload :smile:
