My 16mb RIVA TNT card came in my DELL a couple years ago, its a P3 500mhz. Anyway, i upgraded my drivers a while back and they are from 2000 and listed as NVIDIA 4.14 or so, somehwere in the 4 area I noticed the newest ones on the web page are 21.xx or whatever, a major jump. I went and downloaded the over 3 meg file twice. Each time it gives me an error message of something like " WIN9x_21.81.exe is not a win32 file and cannot be opened" It is supposed to be self extracting. It doesnt have a virus that mcafee can see and winunzip wont work on it either. Any ideas on this?
Hi, i have pretty much the same setup as you, 560 megahertz i got from dell a while back with a riva TNT. I downloaded the detanator XP drivers (v21.81) and it worked just fine with my card. The problem may be with something else in your computer. I'd try to get in touch with NVidia or Dell. the drivers you downloaded should work... ~alex
FYI If you look at the cards that it is supposed to work with on the nvidia web page, it indicated that it does work with TNT. There is a lost of all the cards it works with right on the page where you download it. Ok, thanks, ill try to mess around and see if i can get it to work. It might be my PC software then.
