hmm...8? i forgot, but my half orc that beat the game is 43, dun dare make fun of him cuz he isnt 50  he'll kick ur arse anyways
cool, on single player my character is level 35 and she is a master at summoning and i dont have a multiplayer char, cause multiplayer wont work
I didn't reach the max level when I finish the game. I am level 50 starting out at Shrouded Hills.
I've got a level 50 mage in the regular game and a level 50 melee/technologist (Electric, mechanical, and recular smithing mastered) in multi-player too - now thats a fun character  Cant wait for more mods to come out.
35, mage. Finished game. 43, mage. Finished game. 13, techie. Still playing. 26, mêlée. Still playing. 10, thief. Still playing. 33, mage. Almost finished. I like this game! But I seem to be biased towards mages... I can't help it.. Teleport is just so useful! And disintegrate too....
y would u wanna play ur old char in a new game?... and a solo melee is stronger then melee techer and if u wanna mod, im writing one and need help with building it.
Well, when you max out strength, dex, melee, and dodge a pure melee becomes a melee with a bunch of character points left over. At level 30 or so I had the choice between mastering tech skills, working on throwing/bow/fire arms/pick locks or sinking the extra points into hp. Taking into consideration the fact that in multi-player you can't keep your items after the game is over and the free gear that trade-skills gives I couldn't pass it up. Starting up a round with elete plate, a telsa rod, and the ability to craft every piece of my armor for under 1250 gold or so it was just irrestable. Thats my 2gp though. Your milage may vary.
