    I just went up to the door and failed to lock pick it. Then he started combat with me, but instead of attacking, he just ran to the corner and started yelling "Help Me! Retreat Retreat!" or something like that.

    Then I just busted the door down, took his statue and walked out.

    Heh, what a pussy!

    The easiest way is to wait until night.
    When it becomes dark, wait in 1 hour steps.
    The guy will go to bed inside the locked
    room - this is strange as the bed is outside
    but anyway.
    Follow him inside and then steal the key
    while he's sleeping. Open the chest and leave
    with the box.
    I couldn't fight the guy as Magnus leaves me
    then and I haven't found dwarfen snuff to get him back.
    The priest will bless you for bringing back the statue. When you donate then you'll get blessed again.
