guys...i've heared u speaking something about Drochs Warbringer...so i would like to know that is it the best gun in the game and where to get it? Any answers or tips would make me happy
VERY late game. it's a found Schematic and you have to make it. in AWIP 3.0 you could find enough stuff to make 2 of them. I suggest Fine Revolver first gun then upgrade to Hand Cannon then wait for Drochs Warbringer.
Yeah,ur telling me WHEN i can get it and is it schematic or anything else, but you didn't answer my 2 questions(ofcourse u were helpful):Is it BEST or not and WHERE to get it...
You can find it in the Vedingroth Ruins and i believe it's the best plus it's not heavy like the elephant gun or it's upgrade the blade launcher. Now the absolute best gun damage wise i think it's the tesla gun but its heavy it uses a lot of charges and you need to fully upgrade gunsmithing and electrical .You can get the schematic at the inventors
Tesla gun is also slower and 2 handed only. the gun you asked about is the best 1 handed for damage/speed/ammo use combined. Machined Gun is the best speed and good damage but uses allot of ammo and is 2 handed. I think Tesla Gun is best damage but is slow is 2 handed and uses another school of technology on top of Gun Smithy. I didn't mention where because you would most likely get there anyways and I thought it a spoiler. the guns I mentioned in first post is what I gear me and followers with firearms skill with. I think for damage/speed/ammo use/hands they are the best guns. there is one between Fine Revolver and Hand Cannon but a shopkeep is holding it and won't sell or gamble it without 5 in a skill and pickpocketing it probably takes 5 in skill also (at least more than 3, really it's difficulty to get makes me make hand cannon 99% of the time before I should even try to get it.). that gun is called Sharpshooters Pistol if you're wondering.
Agreed. Put points in sneaking/lockpicking. Why buy bullets, when I can make 2 laps around the area, robbing each merchant with bullets, and have enough to last for a good awhile (plus stealing all the bullet components, of course )!
Best gun is the Tranquilizer Gun. It's so ridiculously powerful that it's almost silly to watch. Of course, it doesn't work on undead and you need full chemistry, but still, you will probably tye dye the stock after you've had it in your hands for a few minutes. Unless you use the educator background (and who does?), the tesla gun will be absolutely useless in anyone's hands but yours, because you really need that bonus to speed. However, it's pure circuit-frying destruction against automatons, as long as you can get them from a long enough distance. My personal favorites are Bronwych's gun, just because it has some of the most unique and badass effects in the game. That's a schematic, and you'll run into it about 1/3 of the way through the game. Looking Glass Rifle is also a personal favorite, as it's great for killing golems in the BMC. The Long Range Pistol Wolfsbane is talking about is an adaptation of that, which makes it lighter and (I think) faster. Also, I'm not sure about the Sharpshooter's Pistol - I think it just has a lot of +TH (to hit). If you're good with firearms, you can hit most things anyway. To tell the truth, I usually roll with a big entourage, and end up carrying 5-6 different kinds of guns around. Just building different ones is fun.
ya maybe 1/2 the games I make a techie with a gun I have Tranquilizer Gun as a backup. it doesn't do health damage so I don't count it as a main gun but it's Fatigue damage is best so good that it doesn't really matter that it is slow. I just wish it was silent.
Spoiler The halfling in Tarant hurling insults around him. Use a fate point to lift his hand cannon off of him. Makes for a great weapon in early game
I always thought doing that was pretty ironic. Then again, he's kind of an asshole, and he does make sure to embarrass you, so I guess he deserves to be embarrassed like that.
I really think that some of the learned schematic guns should have been more powerful. I would have even taken big nerfs to the learned schematic guns for that. I mean, the ones you can build are common simply because you can build them, and who plans a character with just getting 1 or 2 schematic, or combat skills with 1 or 2 points for your most powerful skill? I think the excitement of finding a schematic you haven't seen before was marred a bit when you built the thing and then realized that you'd never use it, because it was worse than the parts. My guess is that a lot of balancing happened at the last minute (and obviously, Sierra didn't give Troika enough time), and there was only time to balance the most common ones.
