Hey all, 1st post. I was just wondering if anybody actually gave the machine platemail back to the owner thats in that basement in Ashbury. The one you fight the automoton for and comes with the automaton shematic. 200 coins for platemail, gee sounds like a good deal for me. NOT
Hm, if you are an evil char and not in desperate need of this ridiculous amount of money, you can keep the plate. Otherwise, I assume you would give it back. X

Its just, thats the best armor ive found so far, im only lvl 15. Im not just gonna give it back for a tenth of what its worth
hmmmmm. well, keep it then! Anyway, i always wear a smoking jacket (or was it smoking suit?) so i never wear anything. When you wear the armour, it's really cool though.
how about give it back, get the money, pickpocket it off him ? of course, a fate point on pickpocketing is needed.
Why talk to the guy at all? Why not just go down into the basement, get the armor and walk straight past the guy without even saying hello?
Or you could talk to him, agree to bring him the platemail, and then tell him, "On second thought I'm keeping the armor." Then laugh as he tries to kick your ass while you're wearing his armor.
k, i tried all the combos and the "on second thought im keeping the armor" is the funniest. that guy couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. But its easier what with the guards trying to kill me and everything just to ignore him after i get the armor.
