Well, I´ve been playing arcanum for a very long time now with a 99% tech dwarf. Now I´ve come into a dilemma!! One time almost in the beginning of the game I broke into the hall of records and stole the newspaper saying that the write of the book, secrets of the N´thala of something had died. I then went to hte library to find out about the book.. I got the book and read it.. and then I threw it away!! Now I need the book to get to Caladon, and it´s gone! I can´t carry on the main quest without the book! Someone please help me, I don´t know what to do!!!
If your problem is in getting to Caladon, then try talking to a boat captain in Black Root or Ashbury, or even Dernholm. THey will usually let you buy passage to Caladon. If not, try taking the pass- the location is in the location bank here at Terra Arcanum
Items vital to the plot do not dissappear. So wherever you threw it away it will still be there. However finding it again might be tricky..
