So, I've heard a lot of folk here talk about their artwork without going in to details... what's on the drawing board? I'm doing a few paintings concurrently right now... a close up of a giant bull ant, a sea-turtle and a kinda abstract view of the sea from underneath. All of them are using a bastardised version of the aboriginal stylised technique, which I'm trying to develop. I bewail my lack of expertise, though, and I doubt I'll be satisfied with my skill unless I practise hard for the next forty years or so. How about y'all?
Eh, just between you and me, I've made the ridonkulous decision to undertake all the artwork for a Spectromancer-like game for Android/iOS. So far I have done all the UI and junk, and finished the first 'monster' artwork, which is a peasant with his back to you. Did I mention the game will feature dark humor?
crack 'dem whips for safety's sake! I've been hard at work on these revolutionary little "smiling faces" as I call them. You can have a sneak peak - more coming soon!
