I'm on W7 64-bit and I can't get WorldEd to launch properly- it brings up the window and then crashes and Windows says "WorldEd has stopped working." I wasn't very surprised that different compatibility modes didn't help, but it was a little more surprising that running it in the Windows XP Mode virtual machine didn't work either. Have others seen this problem? Anybody have a workaround/fix?

WorldEd is just fine with W7 both in 32 and 64bit systems for me...

Try to turn off visual themes. My taskbar loses its transparency when WEd is launched.

EDIT : However, WorldEd has quite serious lag on TD view and when you built some tiles like dirt on water.
