I've been looking for this "Bedokaan Village" to pick up some Heartstones. In the strategy guide map (this is what I've resorted to) it's listed as being at the tip of a river north of the mountain range, I've gone over this entire area and can't find this village. Is there some quest or something I've gotta do before it shows up? Help!
You're welcome. If you need help from freeing that elf, just ask me. Of course, it'll be an easy task for you. _________________ http://thecofclub.i8.com/main.html [ This Message was edited by: friend_al_23 on 2001-08-29 20:03 ]
Okay, now I'm really starting to get fustrated with this Bedokaan Village. I STILL can't find it, despite the co-ordinates you gave. I'm starting to think that this is a bug in the game.
You don't really to go to the exact coordinate. I also experienced this problem when crossing a certain pass. Travel near the coordinate in order to see it. It's near the Poacher's Camp (1204, 277).
I've sent my poor crusader all over the entire swampish region where it's supposed to be. I've uncovered both the Poacher Camp and the Bangellian Deeps. It just pretends that the Village never even existed.
Actually, I finish this side quest because my intention was to go to the Ruby Glen then suddenly stumbles into this area. I explored it and found the lost elven hunter. I did a mission for the Bedokaan chief.
Village... I believe you have to be told about it in some way before you can find it. There are several locations like this in the game. If you've talked to the elves they will mention that they are missing someone, and then you can find it.
Ruby glen Oddly enough I found it the same way. I had intended to go there on my way back from the glen, but I went ahead and finshed the quests involved before actually going to get the Ruby.
Talk to an elven hunter in Quintara, he will show you the location and ask you to free the elf hunter
I never got the quest either, but somehow found it. All I found was the heartstone and the alter. I never found an elf, and the heartstone, well I stumbled across it. I am playing a second time and will try the god quest on the side. spolier...... I am interested in seeing what happens when I step on the alter in the Vendigroth wastes after I have completed the other quests.
Provided you aren't extremely tech oriented, you'll die, then be resurrected with: Dex +4 Resist Damage +30 Resist Magick +30 Hit Pts +100 Fatigue +100 Melee +12 Pick Pocket +12 Persuasion +12 Firearms +12 Dodge +12 Was that what you were looking to find or something else? Hope it helps.
Now, what good does that do except give you a huge advantage to finish the game. I guess you have to finish everything else as well before you do that. Nice.
