i had this excellent game back in 2001 or 2, then my CD disappeared to the CD-eating monster in my closet and i was all sad. but do not fret! i found it on amazon (only a few left) and now im back in the game! ps. didnt know others played it, im happy that im not the only one

Welcome to the community. Just a note if you ever find yourself missing a hard copy of the game GoG sells Arcanum as a digital download too.
...or even better, you can also buy a original 2001 hard-copy in a fancy big box, with a cool manual and map included. I bought mine for 50 bucks from ebay like a 6 months ago. It's better to buy more games at once though, so you save some $$$ on shipping. I bought another 17 original games, and the shipping cost "only" $50. If I bought only Arcanum alone, it would cost $20 (standard international shipping), so do the math.
