vormantown

Anyone ever played it?

 

he he I have never tried vormantown... How is it?

 

i played it during my first game of arcanum but i think i stopped playing as the fights got very hard rather early into it. and also from memory there was no inn to rest in to heal naturally to save on potions

 

yes...it's hard but not very!
And atleast it's not very long(not as Arcanum).
the end is pretty weird though...

 

It's hard 'cause it's for multiplayer and you have to play with a team. Duh..

in the options menu you can choose in which game you want to play(arcanum/vormantown)!

 

I don't like Wormantown - too hard when u're lvl 1 with all these skeletons - too hard because multiplay fights are in real time and ur teamates only want to pick up all the ressurect scrolls to sell them instead of helping you

 

But you DONT have to play in multiplayer mode!!!!

Anyway I don't like its storyline, so Arcanum is still better for single play.
A question: If u create a char for Classic Arcanum, can u play Wormantown with him/her? (OK, I guess it's no and I also guess Im asking stupid questions - oh well...)

btw,you are right,the arcanum is much better then vormantown(but i's still fun!)

Weird... It works on my machine. Save slots are empty and so. (... hope this Worman-thing didn't erase my Classic Arcanum savegames :smile: )

 

i had that same fear when i played it but it didn't do it to my saves so you "should" be ok

 

Thanks. I just reverted to Classic Arcanum - everything's fine. Aaaah..
