Okay, something really weird happened this morning. After staying up all night (see the 'Drinks Night' thread for details) I went and sat in the corner of my brothers room for a little chat with some people. Next thing I know, it's 3 hours later, my mouth is sore, and I'm upstairs in the kitchen.

I have no clue how this happened, and if anyone here (at my house I mean) knows what happened, they aren't telling me.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience (without being drunk, high or both I mean)? If you have, share your 'magic powers' with us!

Well, this is just too easy and obvious, but I'll ask: was your ass sore, too?

My ass was not sore. I was sitting on a chair, with my head on the table. It wasn't so much my mouth was sore, it was a couple of teeth - probably because I'd been resting my head on them. My mouth didn't taste of anything. I'd just lay down, next thing I know it's quarter to one pm and I'm upstairs.

3 hours of my life disappeared like that.

Yes Fatman, I live in a two-storey house, with a pool (saltwater, not fully chlorine, for the discerning readers out there. Saltwater pools rule), and though the back yard is small because of the pool, right behind us is two sports fields.

    Mmm, I love Australia .

    And your kitchen is upstairs?!?!?!?

I'm sorry, Jarinor, but this confirms all the worst rumours that I've heard about Australians living upside down.

What rumours are you talking about Fatman? That we have much better houses than you? That we have space? I'd say yes to both of them...

I am so with you on that one mrnobodie - except we don't have a portable telly at our house, so I have to settle for the couch with an esky full of ice and beer.

Yes, Ring Lord, as I've stated, I do live in a fairly spacious house. It's a big kitchen as well.

Just yanking your chain, Jarinor. Surely you've heard that lame old joke about people in Australia living upside down? It's right up there with the one about digging a hole deep enough.

come to think of it, don't you guys have similar jokes about us?

Yeah, we mock your bad weather, your shitty location, your severe lack of space and how Australia is a much better place than England, because backyard pools are actually viable here.

Oh, and how our rugby teams (union and league) beat yours most of the time .

I htink i knwo what the hell happened

ITs really quite simple..its happened o me meany times.

First..im assuming you "got drunk" and partied like a mofo. Fine lad- Party all night but beware the mouth demons.

First ill give you a littel background. Th emouth demons are foul littel creaturs..theyre sausage shaped and they have two frighteningly engourged venom sack. Often times..the older Mouth demons will have a full beard...resembling an elderly dwarf... or crust...the crust of hell.

The mouth demons cum out at night.... and lay their eggs in the throats and asses of the drunken! They live on the pelvis of your friends.dont believe me? Just ask terrance and PHILLIP!!! yea..thats what i thought. Now..where was i? oh yes. Mouth demons. Now..there is an avatar.. it is the fist of glory (formerly the soldering iron of justice)...It smites the demons with socks filed with chicken fat. I have joined its quest to slay them all. As a matter of fact..i am high right now..lying..waiting.waiting....waiting.

Laugh all you will... but cockmonsters..er..uh..mouth demons are the leading cause of gingivitis as our friend the mechanical marvel has learnt himself. I shall assemble an army of monkeys to devend you!!!!
may they defend the mouths of the holey...allelulah might jesus!

You should also note that I said most of the time. Most does not mean always. Yes, we had a pathetic tour, but before John Eales retired (I'm not blaming the pathetic tour on his retirement by the way) Australia had a great winning streak, was beating nearly everyone etc etc etc.

oh my the english win the six nations. how mighty you are. gee rugbys gone all pear shaped since the professional area stared. i hate the game and i live in new zealand. try saying that here without being called a limp wristed fag traitor and then beaten with a can of tui (a beer here)
go the cricket. even though we play like half the team is getting over a bender from the night before i prefer to watch the black caps play and hay, the drinking time is like 8 hours or 5 days. can you get a better drinking sport ratio than that. i think not.
oh yeah... um... drinking is wrong and gives you herpies. so dont do it.

Yep, I can see how you'd be abused. How are the sheep doing by the way?.

Just joking with you. Yeah, what's happened to the All Blacks lately? Their standards have dropped dramatically.

    the sheep are great.

they went professional and soft. there was a time if someone bad mouthed them the forwards would either beat them sensesless or just get in with those dirty tactics.
of course today the tough guys are out and the new age sensitive guy is in. if you bad mouth them the all blacks will say sorry you feel that way and ask them if they want a hug. its the PC thing to do.
at least the new coach is a former hard farming type.

you do know that there is more sheep in oz. its just that ours put out more.
