I am a Bow Master. I have a schematic to build a Pyrothecnics Bow. I have NO clue what so ever on how to *USE* the schematic. I already "learned" it, but where do I buy the materials, and after I do buy them, what kind of skills do I need to be able to do this? Can I have it custom made?
first you need the compund bow schematic, by joining a long bow and some boat rigging, then you have to have a medium high mechanical level, no problem, you can just go and buy some manuls, you need some fuel and a compound bow, you will see this is in-game, you hit "t" this brings up your schmatics, onn the left there should be two buttons, hit the lower one, then look at the tabs on the right hand side, the one with the small gears, below the one of the gun, will be where the compund ow is supposed to be, I think the pyro bow is in the bomb tab. -Steve
:minigun: To use any schematic simply take it from your inventory and place it on your hand icon, from there click on the gear icon and it will bring up your schematic menu. From here you have an option to select between learned schematics and found ones. In order to choose between the two, you are presented with two icons, one depicting a graduation cap and the other a scroll. Choose the scroll for it relates to found schematics, your bow should appear here and the needed items to construct it. If you do not possess the skill to create the item you will see two big red dots on either side of a button similar to the world map move button. If you do posess the capability to construct the item you will see two arrows on either side of the button. Only when said arrows are glowing green can you make your bow, for this to happen you must have the items called for by the schematic in your inventory in addition to the skill required in the first place. To make the compound bow I believe you should devote cp's towards the smithy tech discipline. For the pyro bow cp's will also need to be spent in the explosives discipline. One thing on the long bow subject (which is required to make compound bow) I was only able to find it on some skeleton archers, I don't recal finding it in any of the shops. One more thing is that even htough pyro bow is great you should carry another bow/weapon with you since you will encounter (even if but a few) fire creatures against which pyro bow obviously does little or no damage.
