It was a private enterprise. I don't think hollywood would have gotten away with that one. :D

Ferret, that's it! that's the movie i was thinking of, but what's the name of it?...... after reading your post i think it may of been called "high society", but i just can't remember!. damn my feeble brain, all i can remember is that the video case in the rental store had a shot of a guy with his face sticking out of his arse on the back of it, which is what prompted me to get it. c'mon Ferret it seems your my only hope of solving this mystery of identifying this movie, isnt there anyone who's seen this movie as well.... surely myself and Ferret aren't the only one's with questionable taste in viewing standards. If anyone can help please do so, it's killing me not knowing.

I've only seen it once - about 8 years ago now. It was on channel 4, in the early hours of the morning, and I was bored. High Society sounds about right, but I can't remember the content properly, let alone the title. :-o :???:

    Happy (belated) Holidays to all!

My holidays (I'm a pseudo-neo-Pagan, Dad & his side of the family are devout Baptists, Mom & sis are Methodists) was alright, got a DVD playter (I'm finally in the 21st century!), some DVD's, a Boris Vallejo Fantasy Art 2003 Calendar (I've received a Boris Vallejo Fantasy Art calendar evey year for the past 8 or so), a video card, and a lovely lil' game called Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura.

Hope you all have a happy & healthy new year!

oh, I have a feeling we'll have a Moon-Colony within 100 years. Then a Colony on Mars, and maybe one on Titan (one of Saturn's moons).

I'm wondering if the extra-solar project will use some sort of cryogenic stasis (to keep the same crew), or a generation ship (where the crew sent off will live lives and have children that grow up and so on, so the crew that reaches the target planet isn't the same crew that left Earth)...

I think the best way to go is with builting than dry dock in orbit around earth to built than specialized Earth Ordit to Lunar surface spacecraft. Than basely
sphere shape with than flat botton for landing than takeoff. When man first land on the moon some non-sciencist critize the mult-stage appoach they use
as wasteful. That was the only way to built than lunar rochet to be fire from the Earth surface to goto the moon than back against.

Mostly likely than Time Stasis Field can be research and manufactor .
