Right, i'm a throwing character and i've just got to the place where the star is supposed to be, i've found the weird tree-vagina opening thing, and gone into this broken church looking thing, i've killed the 3 bears and the monkey and that spider thing across the water but now what? i thought maybee it's on the spider thing but i can't get across the water. This is really pissing me off, i'll do anything for you if you help me, even bum you.
The critters are not the targets, but distractions. The targets are inanimate objects. Anything that shows hit points is fair game. Gee, I wonder if you can put out torches with a boomerang.... It is a teleportation maze, & a lot of fun, for me at least it was the most fun solving a puzzle in the game. Do a hard save in the ruins before you start the teleporting part & F7 often.
Is there some special requirement for getting this quest? I talked to clarisa and said I would retrieve it for her, but the location never showed up on my map. Finaly I got frustrated and found the coordinates, but still couldnt find where I'm supposed to go. Its very frustrating.... This is a little off topic but, if I travel towards the top of the screen, is that considered north? I know it seems stupid, but I swear if I move one way while playing, then look at the world map, it seems like I have moved in a different direction....
I believe the only requirement is that you are already at least an apprentice in throwing. Did you try to talk to Ms Stuck-Up about it again? What does it say about the quest in your journal?
She won't give you the quest unless you are Appernticed in throwing, & if she gives it to you, it will be marked on your map. If it is not marked, the location will not be there. If she gave you the quest, it should be. ??? Are you patched? Modded?
No, actually it happened once that Clarissa didn't give me the location of K'na Tha. But that's because there's a dialog option to end the conversation, and other that deals you ask here about the location. What I mean is that you must ask her the location the place. If you don't do that then you couldn't ask her again and you'll be on your own to find K'na Tha.
It had occured to me that the 3 torches had something to do with it, i'd even thought maybe you light the empty torches with the wooden boomerang or something. BUT i can't attack innanimate objects for some reason, maybe i've missed something major, i can tell my friends to attack doors and things, but when I enter combat and click on them nothing happens. :S
i am patched but not modded, although I did patch when I was already in shrouded hills, maybe I should have started over after patching. I am an expert in throwing and have put five points into it or whatever the max is. I remember talking to her earlier before being an apprentice, then when I went back later after becoming an expert I expected to get the location, but all I can say is that I have not found it yet and she tells me to hurry or something. Oh well, maybe next time I play through I will get it right, thanks.
I-W try doing a forced attack like you would on a door that won't open, from memory it's alt........ i think, try reading the manual........., good luck with that though.
i am patched but not modded, although I did patch when I was already in shrouded hills, maybe I should have started over after patching.
The patch cures the game from the point it was applied. As it was applied before you met Clarissa, that is not the problem. I think your problem may be that you have one shot to get the quest. Hmmm, I must test that.
