I started arcanum again for the third time(i just can't stop playing it ),but i haven't found yet a mission which brings me to this isle... does anybody know? thanks
Ah, yes, twice Geoffrey talks about Cattan, and how good it is... but I think there's no way to get there. Anyway, it should be possible, every place in the game is reachable... :sad:
Geoff talks about Cattan? Really?! What does he say? In my fiction I've put a rather harsh prison for the criminally insane on the island.... I'll have to look at his dialogue files. Neat-o! :grin:
His family summers there. Not worth going to IMHO, it sounds rather like Martha's Vinyard or East Hampton. Full of stuck up rich folk. With check books rather than cash on hand.

They can havw NIMBY demonstrations, write their relitaves on the royal council, create a real furror. Sounds like a good adition to your fanfic.
Yes he says that when you talk to him for first time. But he also mentions Cattan in another dialog... maybe in some city? I don't remember but I'm sure he did. Ah, there's also some mention of Cattan in the last page of the manual. And in the race section... they just want people to want to go there and they know nobody can. :x
I see. Thanks. I'll have to remember that. Well, now I understand the post. So it means that Contemptus has picked it up once? I hope because nobody seems to have entered in that little wall square where the sword is.
I have heard from people who claim to have stopped in the square, hacked the files and used walk through walls, and looked at the code to see the weapon, and they all said it was an arcane sword. I have a lot free time, but I don't think I could spend it doing that.
