SPOILERS for trainer locations . . . . Okay, from what I've read, I should be able to get the Elite Bow guards in Dernholm or Caladon to train me. I have full ranks in Bow and already have apprentice status. Unfortunately, if I try to talk to the guards in either location, they always say "You really should talk to the Captain of the Guard about this." Um, who are they referring to? Is that the Melee Master in Dernholm? He didn't seem to know anything about bow training. Or are they referring to a captain of the guard in Caladon? I haven't found one yet - maybe he becomes availabe later? Thanks in advance ...
There is a guy in Blach Root whose name is a mouthful, but he's originally referred to as Grizzled War Veteran (lives in a house on an island near the junk dealer). He can train for an expert status in melee, dodge, firearms and something else, probably bow.
The bow Captian in Dernholm is your man. He wears a brown wool jacket, not the brown leather of the EBG. Hint. Get your Expert training before talking to Piecre in Blackroot. The War Veteran's fourth is spot traps.
