multiplayer problem

Hi !
i just signed up and have a serious problem with arcanum! i cant play over WON . i tried to create an account and everytime i get the message "Username already exists" not matter what username i choose!
please don't tell me that accounts like "frertefgt67uf2" or "qwopiun70453" already exist!!!

what do you mean "noone plays multiplayer" ? if such bizarre nicknames exist, the game HAS to be played by a lot of people!

ok i just tried some new account names, none of these worked!
and you can tell me anything you want BUT NOT THAT SUCH NAMES ARE ACTUALLY IN USE! i'd never believe this!!!

I play Multi. Yea there might not be much too it. But When someone does come to one of my games or I go to theirs, we have a good time goofing around or taking a newbie from start to finish. I am a prankster at heart so... well.. I mess with ppl sometimes. Turning them into sheep, slapping a dweomer shield on them, sending in a few summoned creatures to whack them around, making the automaton invisi and more. Just wish there were better and longer mods. _ P.S Hes right almost no one plays Multi. WON hosts lots of on-line stuff and I believe the name and pass are access to all services provided by WON. So if someone is playing Delta Force or Soilder of Fortune and has that name you cant use it for Aranum.

 

in-game questtion: what the hell is "expert bow skill" good for? fires two arrows at once??? i never saw this! how can this be done? im expert bowman now and havent noticed any difference to apprentice so far...
can ya help me out? :-(

 

where can i find staves with good spells for a mage? how can i recharge an items (especially a staff's) mana after i used a spell?

 

You're derailing the thread, moving it into the tips section.

 

Go to options. Set floats to "Verbose". You will see two sets of damage numbers when you hit something.* If you miss, in a crowd of baddies, you might hit two sets of backstop critters, & you will only use one arrow from inventory. This feature is what makes archers totaly awesome.

*If using an EHB or its variants on an animal, 4 sets of dammage numbers appear. 3 Golden Bears? A whole pack of Timber Wolves? No problem.
