Help-!Vendigroth Device @ Arronax (semi-spoiler)

I was reading on the walkthrough that I need the Vendigroth device to kill Arronax (I want to join Kerghan) but I gave it to that priest guy to be destroyed!

do I really need it to kill Arronax? If so does anyone know how to "edit" my saved game so i have it in my inventory, or any other way around this problem? thanks

 

No, you can kill, ummmm..., Arronax, without the Vendigroth Device. There is a cave in the Void on one of the many islands. Inside this cave there will be many lizards that will try and eat your nuts, after dispatching the little nut-munching bastards, find the altar in the north west section of the cave. There you will find a sword, you can use it to attack and kill Gerg...uh hum... Arronax while he is still in his regenerative shell of happiness. It's a kick ass weapon!! does mucho damage!

 

ok thanks, do you know which of the teleporters i take in the big teleporter circle to get to the cave island?

Also, where the heck is Kraka-Tur?

I've been on every teleporter and i can't find him! !

 

To be honest with ya pal, I'm not sure which teleporter you have to take to get to the island with the cave on it, or to find Kraka-Tur. I just can't recall of the top of my head. Just journey aroud long enough and you'll find the both of them, I'm sure. And when looking for the cave, it's on the sourthern part of the island with a staircase carved out of the island itself leading down to the cave. So make sure to keep your eyes open. Good Luck!

 

I found him and killed him and then went and joined Khergan...
The ending was dissapointing though, I wanted to physically kill every town.. or at least been able to play on after it was over

oh yeah, you don't need the sword or the vednirgroth device to kill Arronax

 

And you do not need the sword or the device to kill Khergan also .

There is another third way.

No this is in the normal game. ( You just need to have the 1.7.4) patch.

When K goes in his coocoon just cast a body of something

fire , or water , or air or stone on him.

This removes the invunerability that his coocoon provides and he normally dies if you continue to hit him.


You cannot do that in the unpatched game only with the 1.7.4 patch.

And this leads me to believe that this is mayby intentional.

 

you really don't have to do that if you got 11 people banging on him!

hey, how about if i don't have any food to be given away to kraka tur? i wanted him to join me... another one is that i lost my robe!!! it was destroyed by the snake :x !!! i'm an idiot roaming around without any dress on... where can i find a dress? please help me get on with this... :/

 

The void Lizzards have haunch of lizzard & can be looted like any corpse. (Can you pickpocket them?) Feed those to the hungry sod.

Can't help with the robes. Dread Armor is light, I always have one or two for spares. Armor is sometimes found in the Void.

 

In Kerghan's fortress there are two locked chests that have top-notch magical items in them that may include items you can wear.
