Since Dennis hasn't answered yet... It's a Monty Python skit. Now.... I'd like to complain about this parrot....
Thanks for covering for me, Windmills. See, I am not 24h/day on the forum. Anyway tzehoong, I have just one more thing to say: if you have never seen Monty Phyton then: Watch it! I don’t care how you gonna do it; sell one of your kidneys if necessary; after all you just need one of them and you need to see everything Monty Phyton has ever done, it’s essential for your survival as a human being. Hmm… somebody over here said that lists were in. So I’ll make a “watch this, it’s an order TV shows list. 1) Monty Phyton’s Flying Circus 2) The Prisoner 3) The Kingdom 4) Fawty Towers 5) The League of Gentlemen 6) A bit of Fry and Laurie 7) Absolutely Fabulous 8 ) That great show that has slipped my mind for now but will be here when I remember it Ps1: Let me see if I am straying from the topic… no, there was never a topic. Ps2: How much time do I have before Jinxed throws this in the Vault? Ps3: carstar, stop being a bore. “It’s not dead; it’s just resting
but I've never heard of even one of those shows! do you mean I've been wasting my whole life watching sitcoms and movies when i should have watched those???!!! Oh no!
Dennis - What about BLACK ADDER!! you know...the slimy one. Then again, you wouldn't know a subtle plan if it jumped up and started singing "Subtle Plans Are Here Again." Anyway Dennis, I know you're not on here 24h/7 ... I have no life, and I notice these things. You should see the strange things I do around here with a spatula and a thighmaster, when you're all asleep. Then again...maybe you shouldn't.
Dennis, I believe that show is just Prisoner, and not The Prisoner. Yes, tzehoong, you have been wasting your life. Monty Python, Black Adder and Fawlty Towers are some of the funniest shows to ever grace TV sets. Starring the Monty Python crew, Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese (from the Monty Python crew) respectively. In my opinion, Monty Python is the best comedy group ever. Still funny years after they performed the material.
Why couldn't i have been born in 1950? Why god? WHYYYYYY!?!? Hrrhmm... Anywy, it saddens me to hear of a person who never watched Monty Python, i don't think i'll ever see anything that gets near Monty Python. Although, 'nother favorite of mine is Benny Hill, imo almost as funny as Monty Python.
Ps3: carstar, stop being a bore said someperson. quote didnt work I enjoy a laugh as much as the next person, exept for Captian Briges and my wife and her friends. Infact most people enjoy a laugh more than me.
I’m back! Well, yes, most are from BBC… in truth just The Kingdom isn’t, it’s a Dane series by Lars Von Tiers. It was supposed to have 3 seasons, but 3 of its cast had the silly idea to die; so we are stuck with only two seasons and an unfinished story. Still, it’s a must see. Unfortunately I haven’t seen many episodes of Black Adder; but from what I recall it’s pretty good. Speaking of BBC one more name to add to the list: “Drop the dead donkey.
Is The Kingdom what i think it is? (read my thoughts and you'll see what i mean ). I know of a series by Lars Trier, which directly translated could be called "the Kingdom" in English...
