Occaisionally - but not for the last month or so, because of having to format my harddisk, and I haven't reinstalled anything yet.

 I got NWN, and my own internet connection, and thus just somehow haven't got round to installing anything else yet!

    [x]Not Really

That's the closest thing to "Never", so I picked that one. I haven't even thought of replaying Arcanum since I shelved it what... like over half a year ago. I played through it a couple of times and that was it for me. It's a good game, but it doesn't have the staying power of Fallout 1 or 2. I still play those two every once in a while.

God, I you've never played Fallout?! It amazes me when I hear people playing Arcanum and they've never played Fallout. I say this because I never would have looked twice at Arcanum if I hadn't already known that it was done "by those dudes that did Fallout". That's the only reason I bought it.

Anyway, you've got to play these games, Hel Khat. You are in for a treat. I wouldn't be surprised if 90+% of all Arcanum players would list Fallout 1 and 2 as their favorite RPGs of all time. You can find them cheaply now too. I've seen them around for $10 for both. Trust me, at $5 per, that's a steal. You can find these package dealies at most of the big computer stores like Best Buy. Or at least you used to. If not there, then I'm sure you can find them online pretty easily.

The Fallout 'Radioactive' pack has just bee released. It contains all 3 fallout titles, and costs only £9.99p, whatever that is in other currencies.

Fallout Tactics apparently sucks, as it's team-based strategy rather than RPG, but it's worth it just for the other two! :D

Eh, at the very least, Fallout Tactics let's you see what the other two games would have looked like at 1024x768 res.

I have the game, but haven't made it much farther than the tutorial. It was kind of... bleh. I like the atmosphere of the Fallout games, but that along with the combat system isn't enough to keep me. I need the storyline and the RPG-ness, too.

Sounds good I'll have too look for it (as soon as I get a JOB) I got Arcanum because (1) it looked cool (2) at the time no other good RPG's were out and (3) MAINLY cause it was rate M for mature ( wish they made more game like this alot of us gamers are over 25 and don't mind a little sex with our violence)

Haha, if there's one word that can be used to describe the Fallouts, it's "Mature". You can shoot children in the balls! tee hee You can take your gay spouse, hook them on drugs and then sell them into slavery. Or remove their brain and put it into a robot. You can get raped by a mutant for losing at arm wrestling. Haha, you even wake up with a ball gag in your iventory...

    God, those were great games.

Yes, yes they were... *nostalgic sigh*

You can also become a porn star and argue its validity with the wife of a mob boss. :D
