You must've gotten this idea from Jormund, and no, dwarven mages are a weird idea, it can be done, but it's really a waste of time and effort.

Dwarves have a penalty in magicks I think... every spell costs twice fatigue to a dwarf... you know, they're the opposite to an elf.

You know...if you edit the effect.mes, you can make it so dwarven mages are more kickass than any else, but it still would be kinda bad because of the double cost thing, that's the only downside.

I have attempted one b4. Waste of time. Hybrids are much effective. My lastest character itself is one.

Well, M.T. it looks as though you stick to your own thing, I'm glad you found the best way for yourself. My favorite way is armies though, just gotta get a better computer.

Video card. A video card with 32 megs of RAM cures most slowdown problems. A 64 meg card is almost unslowdownable. Now let me brag about my new ATI All In Wonder with 128 meg of DDR RAM....

I have a 32, but its just because I get too many of those guys going, and that bogs it down.
