I've noticed in the past few games and the one in now that sometimes for no particular reason the dialog box asking you "are you sure you want to quit?" will pop up. Then if you select "no", sometimes it will quit anyway. Or, if you walk into certain buildings it will quit automatically. Since I saved shortly before that, I cannot seem to escape it. I have a character up to level 41 and nearly finished the game. Is this a common bug, and what should I do? Thanks.
I had the "quit" dialog box popping up. I was turning it off and it was popping up again in like 2 seconds. Is that what's happening to you? I don't know exactly what causes it, but my version is that it happens when you have more than one game saved (I don't mean the number of saves in one game, I mean if you have saves from different games when you played other characters). If nothing helps, try reinstalling the game and playing one character at a time. Worked for me
WHAT??? I play on three different machines, 15 - 20 different saves, totaly different games, on each. One was state of the art when 750 mhz was fairly respectable. It had few problems, more now after the upgrade, but thats life & off the point. Try running the repair option from the install disk. I've had that problem happen too, I had to go back a save, luckily I had a hard save recently, as I only ever used 2 saves per current game (regular and quick save).
