    In Arcanum v1.070 I had problems always getting inside houses. I have to click the door about 7 different times sometimes I nedd to place my character in different places so he'll run up to the door different was to finally open the door!
    So I installed the latest patch 1.074 & not only did it not fix it but now whenever I go to battle mode I can't get out of it! (The cursor won't change from the sword back to the arrow) H E L P ! Anyone else experiences this?

    Stopped playing the game long time ago, 'cause the bugs nearly killed me.
    The sort of bugs you're experiencing are the worst, since they don't stop the game, they just frustrate you. Jarinor should post here saying youre wrong that they fixed the bugs in the latest patch and they don't exist

    Sometimes in turn based combat the game does seem to run it very slow, seeing to lock up. The fix is simple:

    Hit escape
    Go to options
    Change to real time combat
    return to game
    then, after a second or so repeat and return to turn based.

    The door thing sounds like poor pathfinding.

    I wouldn't call it a bug - poor pathfinding's not a bug, really. As for the first, it might be a bug, might not be.

    Are you Preator's son or what!?
    just because YOU never experienced them, doesn't mean they don't exist. I've been here some time and read alot of complains and questions, and they had no answers. Those questions were about bugs. Believe me, there is alot of people out there that know what I'm talking about.

    When in turn-based mode if it seems to "lock up", just tap the space bar twice (toggles realtime on and off). I haven't had the computer get extra turns or anything doing this either. This usually happens to me at the end or very beginning of the computer's turn. If you are near enough to an enemy it won't let you exit combat either, so you may either have to kill them or run away a bit. You can get out of combat if you are about a screen length away.

    As for not being able to open doors I haven't had that problem...but I normally click past the doors to go through them...I haven't had the problem when picking locks either so I don't know what to tell you.

    This was really getting to me,It just seemed like when I got into a battle the game didn't know that the battle was over.
    I was able to get out of combat mode by clicking the round button the lets you choose how much time you want to move ahead,
    without moving ahead in time. It's as if the game just got cofused & let go of battle mode. Well needless to say I uninstalled & reinstalled the game. So far it's ok I haven't patched it at all I'm not sure if I should.
    I really love this game still even if it has alot of bugs I'll keep going at it.
