That way i could add an npc to give me and some friends our stuff when we play a LAN game... also just out of curiosity is anyone proficient in programming working on a save utility for at least LAN multiplayer?

Yes, this is quite possible. Use the downloadable version at TA's website.

...you can open/edit Arcanum and Vormatown in WorldEd even they(Troika) try persuade you that it isn't possible.
    ....

simply rename .dat file and start worlded (from version 1.0.7.4), select this "new" module and wait ...wait..wait.. (arcanum.dat is VERY big file and decompressing last about 40 minutes on my computer)

Note: this is very dangerous and you can unfortunately damage original module so do it on your own risk...

Even with the previous version, you can't unless you have undat.

Why wouldnt you just be able to copy the origonal vormantown folder and rename it (maybe its contents too) then just edit it with worlded?
