Need some help, please

Okay... best as I remember

I was drinking in a tavern... and ended up seeing 2 (two) Summon Beast icons ( in the correct slots at the top middle-left)... I figured.. "okay... I'm loaded while trying to keep Sog happy and seeing double" (shrug) I left town and when I sobered up... Sog and the 2 icons had stayed. I hugged Sog. Then... I cancelled the left icon. My tiger pal and that particular icon disappeared. I could NOT cancel the right icon. While pondering this hangover treat two polar bears attacked and I cast Guardian Ogre and while I was looking for the Summon Beast spell... a window opened on the play screen with an empty slot and a list that started with 'No Scheme'; then 'User Test Scheme'; 'Necromancer'; Gur Tech'... and so on. (--- I'd like to close this and have it 'stay closed'. I'd also like to remove that Summon Beast icon from the right of the 2 icon slots/boxes on top. I can NOT cast Shield of Protection now... apparently there is no room for the icon.

I have quit the game; removed the sword with the Summon Beast spell on it... even passed it to Virgil. When I restart the game there's that lone icon up there... then when I cast a spell? ... the scheme/no scheme window opens on my PLAY screen. I have the game installed plus the mod-pack with the hellgat or hellfire missing mod in it... seemed to be the latest one AND from Troika.

Would appreciate any help with this.

dude, sounds like you have a major bug on your hands, reinstall see how that goes.

 

that wierd test scheme box kept popping up on me too, whenever I used to do a particular thing... if only I could remember what it was.
