You have to get completely nude and try on the pieces of armor you find one by one and click the pedestal in the center. Like put on the gloves, click the pedestal. Put on the helmet, click the pedestal. Etc.* *Note, I haven't done this myself. I don't know for sure if this is how it goes, but you might as well try it.
