Not "What's your favorite book?" Not "What books have you read?" Not "What books have you always heard good things about but somehow missed out on the first time and you swear you'll read them one of these days cause you just need to catch up on the classics, you just can never seem to find the time?"

What book are you reading right now?

I'm reading Black Boy by Richard Wright. It's a moving autobiography which illustrates the plight of the black man growing up in the Jim Crow south of the 1920's America.

Well if you include all of the manuals and stuff then you could include some game manuals that I am reading. Well gamecube games that is. And then now and then I read Dungeons and Dragons 3rd editions books. I have the player manual, dm's guide, and the monsters manual.

Wow, this thread made it to post #8 before Quethim tried to throw it off track.

Well looks as if you just threw it off track..now I always reply to stuff and usually when I throw it off track it is because I am replying to it and then people reply to what I say and it gets way off track. So its not ALWAYS my fault.

There are no words strong enough to express how much I hated the ending to Hannibal. That is saying something because, like Quethim, MY WORDS R STRONGER THAN MY FISTS. He completely ruined not only that story, but also Silence of the Lambs in just a few short pages.

I thought Queen of the Damned was good, also, even though I never finished it. I was almost towards the end when I lost the book. When I went to the bookstore to buy another copy, I realized that I was getting a little sick of Anne Rice's style. After Interview with a Vampire and Vampire Lestat, I needed a break. Later on, a friend let me borrow his copy of Tale of the Body Thief, and I was disappointed.

Now that this thread's not even about the original topic...

I'm reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"...well, actually, the fourth of the trilogy, and yes I know that doesn't work out, it's true, I started it due to Fallout 2 (random encounter, you've all seen it, even the one's who haven't.) and it's actually really good...

Those were great books. All four of them were great. "Hitchhiker's Guide" even got me into computer games. I saw the old Infocom text adventure one day and I gave it a try. To this day, it's one of my favorite video games.
