    The topic says it all. I have heard thta the pyrotechnic axe doesnt multiply for the fire damage, so if thats correct, the obvious answer is ruled out.

    Pyro Axe is still the best non-magickal melee weapon.
    Arcane weapons are the best magickal weapons.
    At expert and master Backstab level, you should be doing so much damage with any weapon that it hardly matters what it is.
