Hexed weapons From what I understand of hexed weapons, they are magic weapons that have a serious drawback. Unlike D&D you can unequip the item at any time, so you are not stuck with it if you use it. I'm not really sure what the drawback of the hexed dagger actually is, to be honest - will have to investigate. It might be as something as simple as more critical failures or it may affect your character in some way...hmmm.
This dagger property of Jonah Hex To elaborate on Skorpios' answer, hexed weapons and armour can be very useful, for a price. One public example is a weapon that occasionally spawns a poisonous cloud of gas, centered on the wielder of the weapon. Unless you've got a high poison resistance or a lot of antidotes . . . You have to ask yourself if its worth equipping such items as they carry both benefits and drawbacks. And beware giving such an item to Virgil or another follower by accident.
