What should I do now?

I got a lvl 50 elf (female, only child, master phant, force, whit nec, meta, mental, conv, divn). I killed Pete, stole his ship and traveled to Thanatos. What should I do now???? I got no quests, no location where to go there, nothing. I talked to the captain who was gonna go with me there but he says i need a ship. I'd really need help. (I'm patched)

 

Check the area near your landing site. There's a book that should help at a campsite there.

 

Yeah, do what they said. And how about using the search function next time?? Instead of clogging up the forum with more repetitious threads that make it harder for people to use the search function in the future you can do your bit to make the forum a better place for all and not stick like a burr in everyone's craw. Oh, and use the "AND" command to help narrow down your search (search example: Thanatos AND Nasrudin).

 

How about trying to be polite to other posters who aren't causing any trouble, and who might not want to be spoilt by what the search results may bring.

Although I'm flattered to find my own words in your post, Canis, I don't see why people come to the Arcanum Hints & Tips forum unless it IS to be spoiled. Believe me, I ran my own search for those words and quickly dug up two posts which didn't contain any spoilers but the ones I was after; my little tirade was not entirely ungrounded. And anyway, finding a walkthrough for this game using IE's search function is none too difficult. They don't have to come here EVERY SINGLE TIME that they have a question when skimming a walkthrough's table of contents and then scrolling down to the appropriate section is so much simpler.

 

Asking for a push in the right direction, asking for a teensy little spoiler, isn't the same as asking for an entire walkthrough. Some people, and clearly you do not count yourself among them, only wish for a small hint, and do not wish to be exposed to a multitude of spoilers via the search or irresponsible posts in their threads.

Reason and empathy are qualities prized by our species, which is no wonder since so few of our number possess them.
