Israel does not need a navy because its airforces is far sufficient to blast anything trying anything shady along their coast into pieces of icecream.
It is my uneduceated guess that they have some sort of coastguard as all other countries do.

Please do tell us how a country should invade the us and win. Because I tell you, as long as a new weapon is not developed, massproduced and kept secret there is no chance in hell the US would loose such a war.

Unless every damn nation in the world just suddenly felt like ganging up on them with no prior warning, I can't really see it happening, no.

let's not forget that no other country on earth has a standing military as large as ours. or the fact that no country you mentioned has the balls to do anything more than drop trade sanctions. and even IF, despite our Navy, Air Force, and bombs, even IF they could land an invading force, there's the minor fact that most US citizens own guns. we're armed, we have state militias, and we're not gonna take any crap. so, yeah, we can lose on the offensive. but there's no country or coalition onthe planet that can launch a successful invasion against us.

If you haven't heard of RPI it's either because you're not into science/engineering, or because you're too young to be looking at colleges. It's not religious at all, it's the Harvard of engineering institutes.

Israel's military "might" lose in a war versus China. But they're at least on par with them.

You're right it's not religious, I just misread something wrong(not sarcasm).
That would depend on what kind of science/engineering?
Yes, I am old enough to be looking at colleges, I graduated HS in '03 and now attend WyoTech in Laramie, WY. I will graduate on the 23rd of this month.

RPI deals with every type of engineering. I'm an aerospace-mechanical major, there are biomeds, electricals, chemicals, civils, etc, then there are the regular sciences. Computers systems and web design is also big, as is architecture. Basically anything related to science, technology, or making things. And Japanese, you can also major in that.

EDIT: Oh, and congrats, field of study?

RPI is good, but Harvey Mudd or possibly CalTech would be the Harvard of Engineering/science.

Harvey Mudd is a wannabe. Cooper Union, that's a good school. 1100 people locked away in New York City with a bunch of toys and a budget almost as big as MIT's.

You know, I got in trouble in middle school for suggesting that we turned all of the Middle East into a glass factory after super-heating all the sand with nuclear explosions.

That's because in school you learn about how you should do things, and they get mad at you when you talk about how we probably will do things.

That is the most concise description of school I've ever heard.
