Don't forget that it also does Lionheart, the forthcoming RPG that looks to be a really cood combination of the best bits of Arcanum and Fallout, with some of the Arc 2 and F3 suggestions packed in for good measure.

It was created by some of the guys (or gals?) who did Fallout, and should be amazing when it comes out. It's out in the UK on Oct 4, withstanding delays.

Lionheart has any ex-Fallout people working on it? Don't think it does... it's being done by Reflexife Entertainment (who did Star Trek: Away Team) and, to my knowledge, doesn't have any ex-BIS'ers working on it.

That's not what it said on the website....

And it's based on the SPECIAL system (which is copyright AFAIK).

Lionheart is being developed by Reflexive Entertainment. A few guys from Black Isle are also helping out, but the work is being done by RE. It uses the SPECIAL system, it's real-time, and it looks goooooood. At least to me. Feargus also wrote a 60 page document on how to adapt the SPECIAL system to real-time.

I also judge it highly unlikely that Arcanum 2 and Fallout 3 suggestions were listened to when making this - work began a year ago, when most people were still playing Arcanum and not really worrying about Arcanum 2 as yet.

Yeah, it's being published by Black Isle (Interplay), and they hold all the copyrights as far as Fallout and SPECIAL are concerned, but I don't think any of the original Fallout developers have anything to do with it.

Possibly the Interplay sound department. They also did much of the sound work for the Baldur's Gate games.
