where does the dog stand on such issues? I'm starting to think that the dog might be a better choice than Arnold... (mainly cause I wanna see if Arnold ends any of his speeches with "I'll be Back" )

hey! you played shadowrun! that was a pretty cool game. a little too linear for my taste, but it was still pretty original for a console rpg! it was very "fallout" but with lots of computers, etc. i played it on the supernintendo.

I pray that Gary Coleman wins. If he did, wonder what the history books would say 100 years from now? "Whatchoo talkin' bout, Grey Davis?"

most like.. though if it gets on the stage then it might mark it... which could be bad for the campaign, well, unless the crowd likes that sort of thing.... but who knows? Maybe Arnold will invite all his opponents to a big congressional dinner, and gun'em all down... nah, to mafia... um... break into thier houses by shooting a rocket launcher at their front door, go in with Dual Uzis blazing, and cut down everyone in site.... with the dog he might just hit that fire hydrant with a rocket. :D    :D

I live in California and I haven't heard about this dog. There's a DOG that's on the ballot?? Isn't that against the regulations??

Personally, I think the recall is a repercussion of the way our country's been running. It's a manifestation of the distrust we feel for the government in these times. Not enough people are taking it seriously and Arnold is getting almost all of the publicity (even bad publicity is good publicity in this situation). I recently heard that they aren't letting him air any of his movies in California because then they'd have to give all the other candidates the same amount of air time. Preliminary polls have shown that Arnold has the greatest voter support but I have hope that things will landslide to no recall.

But what about that dog, huh??

sorry I forgot to add GARY COLEMAN to the pole, I had totally forgotten that he too was running. Last night though I was flipping thru the channels when I paused just long enough, as always, to figure out what was on and I saw a rather gorgeous woman say
As she did some very large breasts :-o also "jumped up and down" :D .......I wonder if that's the best California really has to offer!?

I can't find a dog on the ballot, unless you mean Arianna Huffington. She is such a bitch, I absolutely cannot STAND that woman. :x

Anyway, I can't find anything on the ballot or in the news about a dog running. However, perhaps it's a misunderstanding: Cruz Bustamante, you see, is a Bulldog, having gone to Cal State Fresno. (Yes, THE Cal State Fresno!) Maybe the original poster saw him referred to as a Bulldog and took it literally.

This site has a list of (I think) 122 candidates. The sample ballot which I got last week has (I think) 135 candidates. Maybe the site removed some people who have dropped out of the running. Anyway, it's a good resource. First person to ask me to cross reference the site and ballot gets cyberslapped, and not in that pleasurable way either.

Fun game! Go through the ballot and find all the names of people who sound famous, but aren't! So far I've found Edward Kennedy, Richard Simmons, Michael Jackson, *S.* Issa, Mohammad *Arif*, and John Beard!

Yes it is. Please stay away.

I suppose that I too must admit that I lived in Cali for 3 1/2 months. And I do know that what is on the ballot is truly the best that Cali has to offer. Which I suppose is not saying much, but I still luv'd Cali for all it was worth while I was there. It took me in taught me how to surf, party-hardy, and made me one of its own. 8)

Woah, 3 and a half months. You must, like, know everything about California. Funny thing, your posts seem to indicate that you don't actually know who's on the ballot, besides what you might see on the cable news networks.

Right, California is only good for surfing and parties. I know you're not going to believe me on this one, but I assure you that most of the state isn't nearly as shallow as you are. What did you do, spend the entire three and a half months inside a frat house?

Somehow I doubt that. I repeat, stay away. And stop calling it Cali. You sound like a wannabe surfer party dude from out of state. Oh, wait....

Dude, you are like, totally dissed out man. That's like, soooo harsh dude.

No, I've never been to California, but my friend used to live there. He was there for over 3 1/2 months too. More like 8 years. But he says, yea there is a large party atmosphere in southern california, but it isn't much different than NYC, or south Florida, it isn't some mecca of all things drunk and illegal. e also said that, there also is a great part of the state that is more adult, like on Manhatten, the Village (Greenwitch Village) is less than a mile from the upper-east side, one of the most republican parts of town.

    Excuse my affrontory!

I acknowledge that my short stay in California does not make me anywhere near a fucking expert like you.

I was going thru a period in my life in which I was trying to find myself. I did not know what I was looking for, and California was simply a stop along the way. I feel that I was enriched for my California experience, and of all places it is one that I truly miss.

I HEREBY DISAVOW ANY AND ALL KNOWLEDGE OF CALIFORNIA!!!!!!! :/

personally i think the whole think that this is a perfect example beuracracy run amok. there are something like 134 people on the ballot, and in the LA Times' most recent poll they stated that 50% of californians were in favor of the recall while 47% were not.

now this may seem like the end of gray davis, but its not, he'll be kicked out of office and voted back into by the end of the election. why you ask? because that 50% is going to spread itself out over 133 candidates, while that other 47% is all going to support gray davis! so basically its just a big fucking WASTE of money.

Not necessarily, Sleek. Davis is Republican and the big Democratic contender, Bustamante, should absorb a healthy percentage of your quoted 47%. I'd just like to know where you got your figures from. Anyone with ANY political intelligence would know that these types of polls are doctored to favor whomever the poller wishes to elect. If your newspaper is Republican, it's going to put a Republican slant on things. If your newspaper is Democratic, it's going to put a Democratic slant on things. If your newpaper is politically neutral (HA!), there will be no slant. I'm going to make a wild stab in the dark and tell you that the place where you get your statistics has a Republican bias. Go to any "elect Arnold" or "elect Flynt" website and you can have it explained to you why their candidate will win and just what a whopping percentage of the popular vote they possess.

And what do you mean it's "a big fucking WASTE of money"?? Every one of those dollars goes towards concealing what a blatant dictatorship these United States have become. It has fooled the masses and seemingly yourself.
