Thanks for the info, I do believe I looked at Erowid 7-8 years ago (or at least if it wasn't that it was something very similar). As to why I was looking at that site at that age... erm... never you mind!

Is the whole Aristotle thing part of the joke? The whole "nothing" side seems to be inspired by Plato.

I think it's just meant to show that the chat is related to philosophy, and doesn't really have any proper significance. If they were reading Aristotle, his name wouldn't be in the text, and if they were reading Plato, the sentence she says then makes sense wouldn't be there, because Plato only uses the name for a character in one of the dialogues.

Well, whatever the case, I think the one in yellow was cute.

Meh. That's probably because your imagination was triggered by those first few frames. Dumb females are unattractive, and smart females are unattractive when they are playing stupid. It was nothing more that a PG-13 means of utilizing the concept "Sex sells."

They could have been reading some modern philosopher who was referring to Aristole in such a way that it *might* have made sense, but it would take creativity and imagination to create such a sentence.

Why is this even an issue? They're clearly two actresses reading through their lines, which sets up the skit, and the reference to Aristotle doesn't mean anything other than 'philosophy lol'.

That was actually so stupid that, when I read it, I was pretty sure it was a typo.

When I skimmed it, I read it as meaning the opposite of what it means.

Sometimes saying "I don't get it" is the only way to get guys to like me.

You shouldn't be so desperate for positive attention that you'll dumb yourself down for another person's benefit. If that's the case, you have much bigger problems on your hands. Or smaller, depending on natural endowment.

To be fair, some supergeniuses like Xyle will have to dumb their grand, complex, and completely nonnonsensical theories down for someone incompetent and deficient like myself.

It's a form of literary analysis: the feasiblity of the art to depict life. Either that or it's a way of complaining about why we didn't like it.

Attraction is a preference. Therefore I can't be "wrong"; only alone in my opinion/preference. Like Gross said to TDC:
I want the love of my life to understand me (because it feels like nobody else will). With a female who refuses to use the brain God gave her, I would be too much of an intelluctual challenge for her to do so. And that is how I define dumb: refusing even to try to learn.

Of course, if I am using the wrong word, don't try to correct my use of the word "Dumb." Offer up the correct word that means what I trying to communicate.

Supergenius? I don't even have the IQ of a genius. What do you mean by supergenius? A genius would be able to communicate the complexity of my thoughts in a simple and understandable manner. And a supergenius would be able to do it by the time he/she was twelve. My intelligence is merely Above Average. And only Average when compared to the rest of this forum.

And don't give us any of your false humility, your prior use of logic was as prideful of your intelligence as you claim me to be of mine. Imcompetent, my ass.

Personally I'm such supermegametagenius that I'm indistinguishable from an idiot.

"Willful ignorance." However, I don't see how giving a more adequate term isn't corrective in some way.
I have a similar problem with my lady; she refuses to believe in Asperger's because she doesn't see it helpful in any way to call people with a single minded determination, social awkwardness, limited empathy, and near-encyclopedic knowledge within subjects of interest "something else". Plus, for the most part I've adapted to the point of becoming eccentric, so she rarely sees examples of "typical autistic behavior" in me.
I can see her point, in a way. Though, I wonder if people who are considered psychopaths (psychopathy being another neurological disorder which prevents all empathy, the formation of true emotions, and is known to create extremely dangerous people) would fall under her grand idea of humanity as a whole-though it does seem that race is slightly less significant as time goes on, and now we have newer ways to distinguish ourselves from "others."

That's actually more of an insult to members of this forum rather than a compliment. Imdeed.

    So... Are you:

-A little bit dull, and have an IQ between 256 and 275?
-About average, and have an IQ between 65536 and 65555?
-Superior, and have an IQ between 4294967296 and 4294967315?
-Xyle, and have an IQ between 18446744073709551616 and 18446744073709551635?

Based on the assumption that you are, indeed, an internet persona.
