    (bolding mine)

Was this mentioned in one of the movies? Or is it from one of the books? I don't really count the things contained in the books, partly because I haven't read any of them, and partly because they're basically fan fiction. If George Lucas didn't say it himself with the movies then, for me, it doesn't count.

Can I borrow your big yellow truck, DarkUnderlord?

Thanks! Oh, what a nice grave!

The world cup is over so I finally saw episode 2. I will see this movie again to better my judgment; but overall I was a bit disappointed. It is not that the movie is bad, it’s just that everyone said that it was better than the first, so my expectations were too high. My 2 issues: script and action scenes.
The overall plot is good but the scrip (something that everyone said was better) is simply disgusting. Not only the love lines were stupid (how come nobody mentioned the bloody fireplace?) but also the “political lines screwed everything. When they openly talk politics the movie’s ideals loose all their strength. Star Wars has always been an idealization, a political manifest, of the US’ right wing’s ideals; but by making it explicit instead of metaphorical and sub linear the quality went to dust.
I don’t have anything to add to retard’s questions, Milo, Sheriff Fatman and Jarinor covered that; like I said, I liked the overall plot and I think that it fits nicely within the series.
About the action scenes: I think Episode 1’s were better made, no combat here matches the Qui Gon-Jin, Obi One and Darth Maul duel. Some sequences were outrageously boring and stupid, like the car race and the droid production line (that last one seemed like a lame excuse for a videogame). On the other hand I loved the first fight between Obi One and Jango Fett, and liked a bit the duels with Dooku.
The fight with dozens of Jedi didn’t cut in, due to the emphasis that Lucas gave it. We see the big guys destroying dozens of droids, while the camera doesn’t give any attention to the less important Jedis. If the focus was more divided between them, showing also some of them dieing, the battle would be much more exiting. This was done in Episode 4, all pilots (including Imperials) were showed fighting, thinking, killing and dieing in the final combat.

Err… sorry for the grave digging, guys.

When you make moive or write fiction book you donot have to figure out what standard of weight and measure than culture use. It is alot harder to turn than fanstary or science fiction books or moives into than good roleplaying game as many inportmant background issues which most author and moive only deal with as something minor. To most author and moive maker how than socierity ecomice system work is uninportant, but to than game designer of roleplaying game this is inportant as background material to make the unirverse seem more real. Than Game Master need to keep in mind that some players will want to know how much does that blaster or dress cost and what do I use as money to pay for it. To than author or moive maker telling the story is more inportant than background material like
what do they use as money.
